Terms of service
Last updated: October 2026
These terms cover your use and purchase of DockRun, a macOS app distributed outside the App Store. By installing or using DockRun, you agree to them.
Your license
DockRun has a free version and a Pro version. The free version is yours to use within its limits. Pro is a one-time payment with no subscription, and covers the number of Macs in your plan (1, 3, 10 or 30). The 14-day trial unlocks Pro features while it lasts.
Free and Pro
Free and Pro differ in limits and features, such as the number of docks, workspaces and workflows, shortcuts, schedules, window arrangement, scripts, the AI planner and MCP. We may improve DockRun and adjust what each version includes in future releases; a Pro license you already bought stays valid.
Account and license activation
Activating Pro links your license to a Mac and counts against your plan's Mac limit. You can sign in to the account portal to view and deactivate Macs, so you can move your license to a new one yourself.
Your responsibility
DockRun can open apps and files, move windows, quit apps, press keys and run scripts you write or choose. You are responsible for the workflows, scripts and shortcuts you create and run, and for backing up what matters to you.
Automation safety
DockRun asks before it runs scripts, presses keys, quits apps or opens a large workspace, and each capability has its own switch in Settings. These are safeguards, not guarantees: read what a step will do before you approve it, and test new scripts on data you can afford to lose.
No guarantee
DockRun is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, lost work, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from using DockRun. Your remedy is limited to the amount you paid for the license.
Related policies
Your purchase is also covered by our refund policy and our acceptable use policy. Please read both; they form part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as DockRun evolves. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
