If macOS will not open DockRun
DockRun is not sold through the App Store, so macOS checks it the first time you open it. This is normal, and it takes one extra click.
The normal prompt
The first time, macOS asks you to confirm that you want to open an app downloaded from the internet. Choose Open. You will not be asked again.
If it says it cannot verify the developer
Control-click (or right-click) DockRun in Applications and choose Open, then choose Open again in the dialog.
Or open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to the message about DockRun and choose Open Anyway.
Still stuck?
Make sure DockRun is in Applications and not running from the disk image. If it still will not open, write to support and say which macOS version you have.
Download DockRun and follow this guide on your own Mac.
Frequently asked
DockRun is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple. You can compare the SHA-256 checksum on the download page with your file before opening it.
